RC Pro Canada opened up its first round in Ontario at Niagara RC Offroad, in Wellandport , Ontario. Weather was great for practice on Friday and the track was a good mixture of technical sections and high speed sections, guys got lots of time on the track as the weather was warm and sunny. Saturday morning we got off to a good start and the weather was not quite as nice as Friday but still warm.
We got started off nice and early 9am, and we were moving on with the qualifiers nicely with some real good battles going on in all the classes. As we approached the very end of round 2 the Niagara weather decided to flex its muscles and the wind and rain came on in on us. After a 2 hour lunch /rain break and 4 tents going flying and being demolished we got back at it , and finished off round 3 , the winds were still there but it was still some good racing, by a great bunch of racers.
Sunday morning was cold and windy round 4 went off and there was some great racing, but the winds would play a part in this round once again , as you could watch the vehicles being pushed around on thetrack . At the end of qualifying we had Steve Bortolotti in Expert Truggy , Matthew Devries in Expert Buggy, Jonathan Devries in Intermediate Buggy , and Dalton Oliver in Intermediate Truggy as our TQ's in each class.
Mains where some real tight racing , lots of wheel to wheel action , at the end of the day we had some real deserving winners :
Expert Truggy: Steve Bortolotti (Tamiya Canada) TQ and 1st, Martin Petre (Losi/Hammertown Hobbies) taking 2nd, and Tom Wright (Tamiya Canada) 3rd.

Expert Buggy: Jordan Krupp (Hammertown Hobbies) 1st , Matt Devries (Jammin Canada) 2nd, Martin Petre (Losi/Hammertown Hobbies)3rd

Intermediate Truggy: Victor Garcia 1st , Dalton Oliver 2nd, Joe Atherton 3rd.

Intermediate Buggy: Lawrence Scott bumped from the B main and went on to take 1st place, Victor Garcia 2nd, Darrin Quinn 3rd.

RC Pro Canada would like to thank Matt, and Sherry Devries for hosting the first leg of the Ontario division and for putting on a great event, that went off in a great manner and a great start to what looks to be a very competitive summer of racing.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the next leg of the Ontario division at Action Hobbies Kingsville, in Kingsville , Ontario.
